This pack has been great so far. I have been using the BCH to carry a 75L dry bag packed with all my gear. I live in Western Washington and the weather is always wet, and the Olympic National Forest can be a combination of wet and snow. I have used it on several 4-day excursions this year, and it has performed superbly. I love that I can dump my dry bag in my tent and use my BCH to haul firewood and water back to camp. I love the fold out seat. It works great as a camp chair, and I am able to use it inside my tent too. This is so much more useful than any other pack I used in the past. If you are serious about getting off the beaten path, I highly recommend the BCH.

I love my BCH60. I really like the way the pack is setup. The external storage and hydration pocket on the back is perfect. I can remove, refill, and reinsert my hydration bladder without disturbing my packed gear. There are plenty of gear loops and anchor points to attach gear externally. I really like the gear loops on the hip belt. I am able to attach a general purpose pouch on one side (to carry my gps, cell phone, and a few snacks), and a pistol on the other side (I live in bear country). I also bought the 52L dry bag and Spider net. Putting it all together has made this pack amazing. And the seat is the cherry on top! Great for sitting around the camp fire. I will recommend this to my friends.

I recently took this pack on a hunting trip to the European Alps to hunt Alpine Ibex. The weather forced us to do more walking than what we’d originally anticipated, which meant the packout of my Ibex was further than planned. I was so thankful that I was carrying the bch60. It handled the 40-kilo load quite well. It was very comfortable and stable throughout the trek. The seat was great. Much better than sitting on the wet and cold rocks. This is a 5-star pack.

I bought this ruck to use during my deployment to Afghanistan. I needed a ruck that could quickly be reconfigured to carry equipment, large and small. This seemed like a great solution. I have carried it on 5 separate operations now and it has performed very well. I have been able to secure items that in the past were difficult to carry with a traditional rucksack. The cargo shelf and carrier make it so easy to access gear quickly, and secure it back onto the ruck when done. It would be great to see this in the Army’s OCP pattern, but hey… nothing a can of spray paint can’t fix. This should be a piece of issued gear, but the personal purchase was well worth it!

The hunt was great we were able to kill a couple Caribou. My father-in-law got sick after the second day so I pretty much packed out two Caribou over 2 miles from camp. The gear could not have been any better I couldn’t have done it without the BCH backpack and gun sling keep up the good work the gear is excellent.
